Advantages over aluminum flagpole:
- Stronger than any other fiberglass flagpole. That is why we can offer a 20 year warranty on the shaft. No flagpole company will offer you this.
- Our poles come fully mounted. The only work to be done is to screw the finial at the top. The cleats, halyard and truck have been installed.
- Our trucks while very simple are indestructible. They do not have pulleys which wear off overtime. There is simply a very smooth passage which allows the halyard to slide without resistance. No risk of a pin breaking, a wheel getting worn out, or a halyard getting stuck between the wheel and the wall of the truck.
- Resistance to sun, moisture and corrosion.
- Maintenance free: no need to repaint white gloss finish. This is true only of manufacturers using a gel-coat finish which is cured properly altogether with the fiberglass composite. Not like some fiberglass flagpoles manufacturers which apply paint at the end of the production process.
- Lightweight: for example our 20-foot fiberglass flagpole which has an un-flagged wind resistance of 180 mph and a shipping weight of 30 lbs. is approximately one third of the weight of an aluminum pole with a lower wind resistance. Low weight is not only an advantage when installing a pole, but also provides a safety benefit. If a pole where to ever fall/break, the resulting damage would be much less important.
- Exceptional strength: see above; very high wind resistance level per unit of weight.
- Quiet halyard: when the wind is blowing and the flag, the clips, and/or the weight are banging on an alumium pole, it is a nuisance for the owner and for the neighbors. Fiberglass does reduce substantially that noise.
- Safe: does not conduct electricity, does not attract lightning. No need for grounding and not a hazard in the case of lightning.

This is the only pole manufactured using a hot molded process. This process ensures that the curing is 97% completed when the pole is taken out of the mold after 20-30 minutes.
The gel-coat which has been applied inside the wall of the mold becomes an integral part of the composite. There is no risk of detachment between the composite and the gel-coat. And because the curing has been achieved at 97%, there is only a very minimal evolution of the composite over the life of the pole.
The hot-molded process increases the strength of the composite which allows us to manufacture stronger poles. This is why our poles have the highest wind ratings/weight in the industry.
